Larry Walden is a professional artist who works in oil and pastel. He began formal training in a commercial art school at age sixteen in Houston, Texas. After serving in the USAF he studied at the Art Students League of New York where he received a certificate of completion with a major in painting. His teachers were Frank Herbert Mason and Robert Beverly Hale.
